She got her bachelors in health sciences, community health at California State University - Dominguez Hills. Then got her Master of Public Health at University of Arizona. She currently works as Community Impact Director at American Heart Association and Urban Leaders Fellow at The Urban Leaders Fellowship while currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health at The University of Georgia. She then worked in three organizations before receiving her Doctor of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Equity and Social Justice. She currently works as a Senior Health Equity Advisor at Center for Science in the Public Interest.
