Who you believe you are is what the world sees and feels.
It might seem trivial to start calling yourself a speaker even before you give your first speech but it makes all the difference in so many ways. Your identity is what you believe about yourself and impacts the way you’re showing up in the world and online. If you're waiting to call yourself a coach, consultant or speaker, you’re working against the current.
Learn how stepping into what you’ve been called to do and how you serve people will make a bigger impact with those you’re here to help. You acknowledging and owning the identity is the first step into you and those who are going to hire you feel comfortable and confident in their decision.

The hardest and most gratifying work you’ll ever do is on the person you’re becoming.
That’s what I believe and I walk my talk. My own personal journey has allowed me to find and dismantle what once kept me small. Walking this path and doing the work allows me to see exactly what the blindspots are that are keeping my clients from moving forward in pursuing their dreams. It’s these very things that also prevent them from deeply connecting with their audience when they speak.
This episode is about how the self work is never a wasted journey and touches so many areas of your life.

What others say about you has nothing to do with you personally.
Too many times I see people taking feedback as a personal judgment on them and their character. That’s not what feedback is at all and it took me a long time to understand that.
Today, I see feedback through a different lense and it’s the way I support my clients in reviewing feedback as well. I’ll take you BTS as I review feedback from a recent presentation and you’ll hear what I’ll do next time as a result of one person’s honest feedback.

Telling yourself the right story is one of the stories that you need to be repeating to yourself but what about others? Stories are the mental picture books that help your audience see and feel themselves inside your story.
Sharing your story is part of building the know, like and trust with others. Your story needs to be a part of your marketing plan.

Ready to speak to an audience, stand out and have all eyes and ears on you?
I’m taking you behind the scenes or into my brain when I first start crafting a signature talk. This is the exact process I use for myself and my clients, which I created years ago.
When you get booked to speak, you’ll have so many ideas to share with your audience. It’s easy to be overwhelmed with too much info, which results in your audience doing nothing. In this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes on how I create a jumping off place to craft a talk that is standing ovation worthy.
And if you haven’t gotten booked, that’s OK. When you listen to this episode you’ll want to get booked and you’ll feel confident knowing it’s exactly what the audience needs and wants to hear.
Check out what you’ll learn:
PLUS, how to transform your ideas into verbal art!

STOP climbing more than one mountain at a time.
Having a business and being successful means really dialing in to the right people to help. Most business owners try to cast a wide net to help as many people as possible and it works against them everytime.
The easiest and fastest way to get booked by clients and stages is to be crystal clear on the people who are in that audience. There is an association and industry meeting for every single group of people and interest. Getting specific will help you find the perfect people to talk in front of and serve.
