It’s time for another Behind the Scenes (BTS) episode, which as you know, are some of our favorite ones to record, especially when things are happening real time here at Pursuing HER Purpose! Today’s episode is a peek under the hood, as we dive into what has happened in the month of June (so far). Obviously, the biggest thing this month has been the launch of our brand new program, Purposeful Podcast, which takes you from A to Z of starting your very own podcast, including equipment, to episode writing, growth, monetization and all of the strategies that we use with our different podcasts.

You’ll hear it all today, like how the community aspect of this course developed, the strategies we used for this latest launch and the results we generated, including numbers like sales and the conversation rate. We also share what the next phase of Pursuing HER Purpose looks like, and how we’ll be backing away from content creation and moving into a growth and marketing phase where we focus on connecting with more of the right people for our brand!

It’s Kat here, and today I am so thrilled to introduce you to Andrew and Emma Hubbard, the co-founders of Brightest Beginning, an online community and educational hub that teaches parents about everything from early development, sleep, teething, eating and potty training. 

Emma is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, and her husband Andrew is also the founder of Hubbard Digital, a leading marketing and education company that specializes in Facebook and Instagram Ads. Andrew and I actually used to work together at the last company I was with, and he is the brains behind supporting that business to reach multiple 7-figures in revenue per year. Since then, he has ventured into the world of YouTube, supporting Emma to reach over 191,000 subscribers in less than 2 years! 

You’re going to hear all about how they’ve grown their YouTube channel and business, and what to consider if you are a content creator looking to maximize results using that platform, or what to do if you’re considering becoming a content creator. If you think YouTube is “too saturated”, it’s not, and Andrew gives a great answer on why this is!  Andrew and Emma give some excellent reasons for why you just need to get started if you’ve been on the fence about publishing on YouTube, what they’ve done to build a business using the platform (from the ground up!), getting comfortable taking risks, what to do to prevent burnout, and so much more.
