Candice became a dear friend of ours when (among other things) she visited Sojourn Grace years ago, was a brilliant guest speaker, and challenged us as leaders to be MORE clear about just how open and affirming our faith community is. And she was/is RIGHT! That sort of clarity is desperately needed.

We talked about all sorts of good things, such as: when she told us about some of the gifts of being queer; how an LGBTQ person can navigate the complexities of a family that doesn't accept them, and why tele-health is actually really, really good and important.
