I discovered Cherisse through a news feature on her book,  I Miss You Already, which is a children's book that celebrates a mother’s love and captures the moments that pass all too quickly. There’s nothing more bittersweet than watching your child grow, change and move on right before your very eyes. Cherisse is also the co-author of Big Laughs, Bigger Lessons, the executive director of Zelesky Now, speaker, lifestyle coach, but more importantly a wife to Gary, mother of Nicole, and grandmother to five. 

In this episode, Cherisse Zelesky and I talk about her journey as a mom with her daughter Nicole and the unique perspective she has now that her daughter is a mother as well. Cherisse explains the difficult home life that she grew up in and how she learned the importance of being a supportive, loving, caring, parent through her relationship with God.
