On this episode of Reaganism, Roger sits down with Dr. Ken Adelman, who served in the Reagan Administration as Deputy U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and then as Director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency for nearly five years. He was a member of the U.S. delegation at the 1986 Reykjavik Summit between Reagan and Gorbachev, which he describes in his book, Reagan at Reykjavik. Roger and Ken discussed the summit and how it led, in Ken’s view, to the end of the Cold War.

Bush and co-founder of the digital media company Kite & Key, Troy is the author of A Man of Iron: the Turbulent Life and Improbably Presidency of Grover Cleveland. Roger and Troy discussed Grover Cleveland, the only president thus far to serve two non-consecutive terms in office as both America’s 22nd and 24th president.

They discussed Ben’s new book, Reagan’s War Stories, which examined how Ronald Reagan’s reading of Tom Clancy novels and other science fiction books influenced his worldview and national security policies.

Ursa Major is a the first American company to develop rocket engines for application in both hypersonic systems and space launches. Roger and Joe discuss his background working at SpaceX and Blue Origin, founding Ursa Major, hypersonics technology, and the national security innovation base.
On this episode of Reaganism, Roger sits down with Dr. John Hillen, the James C. Wheat Visiting Professor in Leadership at Hampden-Sydney College. He previously served in the U.S. Army, for George W. Bush, and as a business executive. Roger and John discussed leadership, what a conservative foreign policy should consist of, and how the United States should approach competition with China.
