“I frequently ask myself the question, ‘What do I need to do to be a better leader for the people in this company? Who do they need me to be?’” -Nadia Masri
Nadia Masri has been an entrepreneur from a young age. At 19, she took a $20,000 loan from her parents and turned it into a painting business that managed to turn $75,000 in revenue in a single summer. By 20 years old, she had successfully funded and started a fashion magazine in New York City.
Nadia now serves as the CEO of Perksy, a mobile customer insight platform she founded that helps businesses understand their target demographics, specifically millennial and gen-z audiences. Nadia’s work with Perksy, and her natural inclination towards business has earned her a lot of attention. She was named one of Forbes 30 Under 30 for Marketing and Advertising for 2019.
In this episode, Chad and Nadia discuss what she’s learned from her prior business ventures, how she relies on those around her to support her, and why she finds empowerment in not knowing the answers to everything.
