You can follow Susie @SusieBurrell on Instagram - she shares simple & practical food tips to nourish your body, save you money and satisfy your taste buds.
Susie's key tips:
* Get kids to snack on veggies (e.g. raw carrots) whilst waiting for their dinner
* Have a base budget ($100) for base items such as proteins - turkey and canned fish is budget friendly
* Get your fruit and vegetables from the markets if possible
* Watch your snacks - this is where the budget can blow out
* Be strategic - plan ahead, be strategic - make the most of your freezer
* Keep it simple - plans the same meals each week (or even for a few days of the week with your easy go to meals)
* Invest in quality plans (Susie recommends Green Pans)
