Meat matters. We’re in the midst of a red meat revolution. Dr. Shawn Baker (@SBakerMD) is a multi-sport world record setting athlete, physician, author of “The Carnivore Diet” and founder of REVERO, who joins the Futures Edge show this week to discuss the benefits of a meat-based diet and its impact on health and wellness. He explains to podcast hosts Jim Iuorio and Bob Iaccino that he eats two meals a day consisting mainly of red meat, with occasional seafood and dairy. He believes that humans are naturally inclined to eat fatty, grazing animals and that red meat provides the necessary energy and nutrients. He shares his journey from being an orthopedic surgeon to advocating for a nutrition-focused approach to healthcare.
