The Red Sox (52-45) extended their season-high win streak to 9 in a row with a 1-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park. Garrett Crochet went the distance with his career complete game & shutout. The Sox have also won 12 of 14 overall and are also a season-high 7 games over .500.  Time of Game: 2:08. The Sox will have a shot at their 3rd straight series sweep to go into the All-Star Break on Sunday.

Crochet Day: Crochet retired the side 1-2-3 in the 9th to close out the game. He had 7 1-2-3 Innings in the win. He allowed 3 Singles, walked no one and struck out 9. It's his 10th win overall and 2nd of the season at Fenway.

Sox at the Dish: The Sox got on the board 1st Roman Anthony extended his hit streak to 8 in a row with a 1-out Double in the 4th and he scored on an RBI Single from Carlos Narvaez. The Red Sox had the leadoff man reach in 3 straight Innings (5th-7th) but were not able to score. The Sox left a runner in scoring position each of the final 4 Innings at the plate.
