The Red Sox (27-29) opened up their 6-game road trip with a 3-2 loss to the Milwaukee Brewer in front of 40,181 at American Life Field in Milwaukee on Memorial Day. The Sox have lost 3 in a row and drop to 2 games under .500. The Sox got a run in the top of the 9th, but Connor Wong flew out to right-field with the bases loaded to end the game. It's the Red Sox 14th 1-run loss of the season.

Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet made his 8th start this season with the Red Sox losing the previous game played. Crochet and the Sox were down 1-0 one pitch into the game with Jackson Chourio hitting a leadoff Home Run in the Bottom of the 1st Inning. The Brewers added their 2nd run vs. Crochet on back-to-back Doubles by Joey Ortiz and Andruw Monasterio in the 5th Inning. Crochet threw 108 pitches and had 22 swings & misses over 6.2 Innings. He walked 2 and tied a season-high with 11 strikeouts. With the loss, the Red Sox are 1-4 in Crochet's 5 starts in the Month of May and 6-6 in his 1st 12 starts of the season.  Crochet has allowed 2 earned runs or less in 11 of his 1st 12 starts.

#'s of the Day: The Red Sox have been held to a single run for the 3rd straight game and for the 12th time this season.  With Monday's loss, the Red Sox are now 6-4 vs. NL clubs. The Brewers are 16-15 vs. AL clubs. Red Sox pitchers have allowed 3 solo Home Runs over the last 2 games and 23 Home Runs in the month of May. The Red Sox are now (3-15) when they do not hit a Home Run.

What's On Tap?: The Red Sox continue their 3-game series against the Brewers Tuesday night at American Family Field and conclude the series with a day game on Wednesday.  The Red Sox will have a scheduled off day Thursday and start at 3-game series in Atlanta against the Braves on Friday.  Monday began a stretch of playing 9 of 12 away from Fenway.
