The Red Sox (31-35) evened up their series in the Bronx with a 10-7 victory over the Yankees Saturday night.  The Sox went in front for good with a 5-run 3rd Inning against losing pitcher Ryan Yarbrough, who allowed 8 earned runs.  The Red Sox out-hit the Yankees, 14-7, and 4 different hitters had multi-hit games. Aroldis Chapman worked a 1-2-3 9th for his 10th Save.

Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet gave up a season-high 5 earned runs but still managed to pick up his 6th win of the season. Crochet exited with an 8-5 lead after 6 Innings of work.  He gave up a 3-run Home Run to Austin Wells in the 2nd Inning. The Sox ace walked 1, struck out 9 and now leads the Majors with 109 strikeouts. Crochet struck out Aaron Judge 3 times on the night.

Sox At The Dish: Romy Gonzalez collected his 2nd 3-hit game of the season in the Red Sox win Saturday night. Gonzalez hit a 2-out, 2-run Home Run in the 4th Inning to put the Red Sox up 8-3. It was his 1st of the season. Kristian Campbell had a pair of RBI singles in his 1st 2 at-bats. Trevor Story collected 3 hits, including a 3-run Double in the Red Sox 5-run 3rd Inning and a 2-run Single in the 9th to provide some insurance.

#'s of the Night: The Red Sox are now 27-18 on the season when hitting a Home Run.  The Red Sox are now 9-10 vs. AL East teams. Red Sox starting pitchers now have 2 winning decisions over the last 24 games and Crochet has both of those wins.  Boston pitchers have allowed 17 Home Runs over the last 11 Games.

What's On Tap?: The Red Sox and Yankees conclude their 1st series of the season Sunday night in the Bronx. Hunter Dobbins goes against Carlos Rodon. The 2 teams will meet again next weekend for a 3-game series at Fenway Park.  Friday began a stretch of 9 straight games against AL East clubs. Friday also started a stretch of the Red Sox playing 12 of 18 away from home.
