The Red Sox (32-35) used the long ball in Sunday night's series finale in the Bronx and beat the Yankees, 11-7.  The Sox took 2 of 3 in the 1st series of the season between the 2 rivals. Hunter Dobbins earned the victory for the Red Sox, who have won 3 of their last 4 games. Aroldis Chapman had to enter in the 9th with 2 on and 2 outs and he managed to record the final out to close the door on the game and record his 11th save.

Sox At The Dish: The Red Sox tied a season-high with 5 Home Runs in Sunday night's win in the finale. The Sox also hit 5 Home Runs at Toronto on April 29th. Kristian Campbell hit a 2-run Homer into the seats in right in the 5th and that tied the game at 2-2.  Carlos Narvaez hit a 3-run blast to left in the 5th and that put the Red Sox in front, 5-3.  Abraham Toro and Trevor Story went back-to-back in the 8th to added on to the Sox lead. Rafael Devers hit a solo shot in the 9th, his 2nd of the series, 14th on the season, and 18th career Home Run at Yankee Stadium.

It's Been A While: Hunter Dobbins is the 1st Red Sox starting pitcher, not named Garrett Crochet, to earn a win since Lucas Giolito picked up a win on the road against the Royals on May 11th.  Yankees starter Carlos Rodon took the loss in the finale. He entered Sunday having won 7 straight decisions and it's the Yankees 1st loss in a Rodon start since May 10.

#'s of the Night: The Red Sox collected 7 extra-base hits Sunday night. Boston scored 27 runs in the 3 games in the Bronx and collected 16 extra-base hits (7 2B, 1

3B & 8 Home Runs).  With Sunday's win in the finale, the Red Sox have now won 6 series this season after losing the series opener.  The Red Sox are now 28-18

on the season when hitting a Home Run.  The Red Sox are now 10-10 vs. AL East teams. Aaron Judge hit a pair of 2-run Home Runs in the loss for the Yankees

and Boston pitchers have now allowed 20 Home Runs over the last 12 Games.

What's On Tap?: The Red Sox return home and open up a 6-game homestand with the 1st of 3 against the Tampa Bay Rays Monday night at Fenway Park.  Brayan Bello is set to face Shane Baz in the opener Monday night.  Friday began a stretch of 9 straight games against AL East clubs. Friday also started a stretch of the Red Sox playing 12 of 18 away from home.
