It can be difficult to forgive the wrongdoings of the past – especially when we feel that forgiveness has not been earned. But holding on to those feelings only prolongs our suffering.
Forgiveness is for us. It means giving up the suffering that we are feeling because of something that happened in the past, and having the willingness to move forward. That is what leads to inner freedom. Let’s explore some of the positive benefits of forgiveness and how to let go of the poison that’s holding us back, because maybe if more people knew the real benefits of forgiveness, they would do so more easily.
