Carolyn Brown is a LYT-certified teacher who fought and overcame cancer. When she was diagnosed, she was training to go with her team to the Masters World Championships of Synchronized Swimming, and she was determined to still go. She went into research mode and did everything she could to improve her situation.
Three months after her chemo treatment ended, she was able to participate in the championship. Afterward, acknowledging how much movement did for her, she enrolled in LYT Yoga teacher training. She talks about her diagnosis and the things she did to help her move through it and recover.

Karen Rohlf is an expert dressage teacher. She pioneered a new niche in the horse industry by combining two seemingly different styles of riding, and she works with horses to improve their biomechanics by focusing on the mental and emotional components of posture and movement. She also mentors other heart-centered equine professionals.
Karen started as a horse-crazy kid. But the further she delved into the professional horse industry, the more she missed the feeling of riding for fun as a kid. So she ended up diving into natural horsemanship, where the partnership and relationship with the horse took priority.

This past year, we’ve had comfort and discomfort, and we’ve had to reconcile with the comfort that we might experience daily. Some comforts are necessary for us to thrive, but there is such a thing as getting too comfortable — it’s called being complacent.
Sometimes, you have to reach, to push yourself past your comfort zone, because it’s only in the discomfort that we can truly begin to grow.

But, eventually, he realized that he didn’t actually need a lot of money to make his dream come true.
