Kaitie Brinston believes that having a growth mindset is not something you're born with. It's something you develop through practice and effort.
If you have a fixed mindset, you believe that your abilities and talents are set in stone. You're either good at something or you're not. This can lead to a feeling of helplessness, because if you're not naturally gifted at something, you may feel like there's no point in trying.
A growth mindset, on the other hand, means believing that your abilities can be developed through practice and effort. This allows you to approach challenges with a sense of optimism and confidence, knowing that you have the ability to improve.
Kaitie and I have a lengthy discussion about resiliency, belief systems, limiting words, awareness, and support systems.
This episode is jammed with tons of great information, and she leaves you with some homework.
