REV On Air: The Beautiful Role of Animals in Regeneration with Force of Nature

Listen Later

This podcast episode is a part of the REV x Farmer’s Footprint Regenerative Podcast Series!

In the ninth episode of our Regenerative Podcast Series in collaboration with Farmer’s Footprint, we speak to husband and wife duo, Katie Forrest & Taylor Collins, founders of Force of Nature! Katie & Taylor discuss what for some might be a sensitive topic but an important one when it comes to the future of animal husbandry. Once again coming back to the soil was Katie & Taylor’s lightbulb moment when optimising their diets and when switching from being plant based to meat eaters. In this episode they give us the most clear representation of the realities of consuming meat in 2023 and why regeneration is paramount in maintaining health across all biological systems.

Force of Nature spent the last decade studying regenerative agriculture at ranches all over the world before we answered the community’s call to launch their brand. Never before has a company founded on the principles of regenerative agriculture, curated a vast collection of land stewards, ranchers, and farmers who are committed to creating a positive return on the planet. All Force of Nature animals are raised in environments that encourage the expression of their natural behaviors while consuming the diets that they were biologically engineered and evolved to eat.

What Makes Force of Nature Regenerative?

As Force of Nature says, they are leading the regenerative revolution. They are on a mission to improve our collective environment and health through regenerative agriculture while creating food raised in a way that honors the systems within Mother Nature. They care for the soil, respect diversity in plants and animals on the land, and focus on natural outcomes versus synthetic inputs – no tilling, no synthetic chemicals, no hormones or antibiotics! Their range of meat is more delicious and nutritious than anything else you can buy, including organic and traditional grass fed. From Force of Nature you’ll find meats like Elk, Venison, Wild boar, Bison and the more conventional meats like beef, chicken, and pork.

Kiki Milk

Kiki Milk was started in the founders kitchen out of necessity because there was no milk they felt comfortable giving their son. Frustration turned into curiosity, and they turned that into action. Thus Kiki Milk was born! Inspired by the abundant coconuts on the island of Kauai, Kiki Milk is a plant-based milk for kids and adults alike. Delicious, rich in plant-based protein, contains essential fatty acids for brain health, has bioavailable calcium for bone health, and is naturally sweet from organic oats and organic coconut sugar. Kiki Milk works with one of the first Certified Regenerative organic companies to source their coconut sugar for their line. Coconuts are inherently grown regeneratively with multiple other crops being able to be sustained and grown next to and among the coconut trees. Kiki Milk has three different organic and plant-based milks along with a delicious nut butter.
