Revenge of the 90s: A Movie Podcast

Sure, 'Cliffhanger' is a Sylvester Stallone movie, but it's certainly a different vehicle for him. This 1993 action classic (which TOTALLY holds up) has Stallone doing some typical Stallone stuff, but he also plays a quieter, way more vulnerable character here, facing off against an insanely fun John Lithgow villain. With the success of 'Jurassic Park,' studios were racing to snatch up any Michael Crichton property they could, thinking they could replicate the success of that now-classic.
