What would do if you found out that your wife was cheating on you?

When men get hurt like this, shame becomes prevalent.

Shame is where it gets dangerous. Shame stops men from reaching out to other guys. Shame comes around from the feeling of not being enough. The shame and the hurt cause men to go into an ultra-beta mode or DEERing - Defending, Explaining, Excusing, Rationalizing.

You have to take full responsibility for everything in your life. Take full responsibility - but always remember that this is not your fault. This is on them. Even if you have contributed in some way, it doesn't make an allowance for that kind of behavior.
