Richard is originally from Rockland, Idaho where he grew up on a family farm alongside six siblings. Life on the farm taught him the value of hard work and teamwork early on, as well as a deep appreciation for the outdoors and community. After high school, Richard moved to St. George, Utah, to pursue higher education. His studies led him to a fulfilling career in public health, where he spent a decade dedicated to improving community wellness, health education, and preventive care. His work in public health allowed him to make a tangible difference, positively impacting lives and communities—a passion that continues to drive him.
