Today we are joined by Scott Oldfield. He is the Vice President and COO of Tri-Shield Consulting, a team of retired police Commercial Vehicle Inspectors that are committed to road safety and provide a range of services including commercial vehicle training.
This is our longest one person interview episode and it's a good one. This is all about road safety, circle checks, equipment loading, and everything you would want to know about being on the road in your business. Though this episode is quite specific to Ontario including CVORs; yellow stickers; and license classes, there is about 75% of this interview that can be applied throughout North America with some minor differences that you can look into for yourself considering your region. But this is a great episode to come back to or have crew members listen in on and take notes.
There are a lot of links that are discussed especially at the end and these are mostly specific to Ontario business owners. You can find all of these links in the show notes of this episode. If you click on the show in your podcast app you can find it all there. And make sure that you go check out Tri-Shield Consulting on their website or at Landscape Ontario Congress this year at booth 129.
