Welcome back to another episode of Dive Cuts with Sam Snelling and Matthew Harris! On this week's episode, you can expect a lot of talk about regression to the mean.
Mizzou played two VERY different games since the last episode. One was their best game on offense and the other might have been their worst showing in quite some time. Sam and Matt dive into what happened against Florida and Mississippi State, as well as looking ahead at Alabama on Saturday and what else the schedule holds for Mizzou in the upcoming future.
They also dive into a little bit about the SEC as a whole and what has been transpiring in league play thus far.

Welcome back to another episode of Dive Cuts and Rock M Nation Podcasts! After the holiday break, Sam and Matt are here to talk about some Mizzou Basketball with you and there is plenty to talk about, right? Sam and Matt talk about the Tennessee game and everything so far this season as well as some of the issues facing this team right now. Sam and Matt also talk the Florida game coming up this weekend and what you should be looking out for come tip-off on Saturday.
How can Mizzou get better? What does this season have in store after this 8-6 start that not a lot of people are happy with. The Tilmon injury certainly does not help, but it's something Mizzou is familiar with when it comes to dealing with a significant injury. This has been a weird season of college basketball. The SEC does not have a clear cut team you can trust and the same goes for College Basketball. Could that benefit Mizzou?

Welcome back to another episode of Dive Cuts! Sam Snelling and Matthew Harris are here to talk to you about some Mizzou Hoops. The Offense seemed to wake up in Mizzou's last game, but is that sustainable? They also get you ready for Braggin' Rights with a preview as well as talking about how not pretty the SEC has looked so far. Let's dive in.
Episode Breakdown:
:15 – 17:25: Welcome back to Dive Cuts! Mizzou is coming off of a pretty good win for Mizzou and the Offense seemed to wake up a little bit. Mark Smith going 7-9 is a major reason why. Spoiler Alert. A deeper dive into what happened and what Sam and Matt saw.
17:26 – 35:47: Anyways… Mizzou is set to take on Illinois this Saturday. First… a Noon start for this game feels wrong. The early line is showing Illinois being favored by a little bit. Dive Cuts is here to help you preview the Braggin’ Rights game, which everyone needs, right?! Sam and Matt also share a prediction for you all!
35:48 – 48:52: The SEC is… bad. That could bode well for Mizzou this season to add a decent amount of wins in Conference play this year. The scores in the SEC are… not pretty.
48:53 – END: Wrap-Up and some programming notes/final thoughts before the pod ends!

Welcome back to Rock M Nation Podcasts! It’s another EMERGENCY PODCAST because Mizzou Football has hired a new coach (according to reports!). Enter Eli Drinkwitz. First, what a name. Second, Sam Snelling, Nate Edwards, and Brandon Kiley are here to break down the hire and what it means for Mizzou moving forward as well as their personal thoughts on the hire. Let’s get to it.
Episode Breakdown:
:15 – 20:50: BREAKING NEWS! Mizzou Football has a new head coach! Let’s talk about the hire in general terms first and then let’s break it down.
20:51 – 39:16: With every coach, there is a culture. Barry Odom had built a good culture, or what was perceived as a good culture, within that locker room. Keeping that culture could be important for Drinkwitz. Who on the staff should he keep or should he totally clean house? A large conversation when it comes to Recruiting and how much the coaches doing it matters.
39:17 – END: As this wraps up, this recap is broad because it is about a COACHING HIRE! You want to listen to all of it rather than read it, right?! Here are the final thoughts of the Pod for you to think about as a new era of Mizzou Football begins.

Welcome back Tiger Fans to another episode of Before The Box Score with Nate Edwards! Joining Nate this week is Brandon Kiley because if you did not know, there's a coaching search going on! Who are some names they like, dislike, and just a little more about this whole process so far. Let's get to it.
Episode Breakdown:
:15 – 5:09: Welcome back Tiger Fans to Before the Box Score! Our very own, Brandon Kiley, is joining the podcast today and let’s dive into what has been happening the last 5 days, shall we?!
5:10 – 16:47: This has been a wild few days. Who were the favorite clubhouse leaders out there these past couple of days? And on the same side of the coin, who would be a “safe hire?”
16:48 – 20:51: Let’s talk Skip Holtz. Why should people be mad that Skip Holtz is someone in the running for this job?
20:52 – 33:57: Is Mizzou at this spot by choice or by circumstance?
33:58 – 40:53: Willie Fritz anyone?! Can we get Willie Fritz going???
40:54 – 47:37: The clock is ticking… Early signing day is right around the corner! The longer this goes, the worse off Mizzou could be.
47:38 – END: This wraps up this therapy session. Here are some final thoughts before we get out of here and there will be plenty of updates coming your way!

Welcome back to another episode of Rock M Nation Podcasts! Sam Snelling and Nate Edwards are here with a very special guest and GODFATHER of Rock M Nation, Bill Connelly, who now works at ESPN! Sam, Nate, and Bill are here to give you some updates and answer some questions regarding the latest on the Mizzou Football coaching search. Form names they like, to their thoughts on Jim Sterk's decision, it's all here. Let's get to it.
Episode Breakdown:
:15 – 1:27: Welcome back to Rock M Nation podcasts! Sam Snelling and Nate Edwards are here to update you on the coaching search and they brought a special guest! Bill Connelly from ESPN! There were some audio issues that we get into, but it wasn’t until the very end, so how about that?! Let’s get started with Bill.
1:28 – 6:41: Welcome (back) Bill Connelly to Rock M Nation podcasts! The coaching search has started, but let’s hear from Bill… would he have made the move to fire Barry Odom after going 6-6?
6:42 – 11:35: The financial of Mizzou Athletics is something that makes this such an interesting case. Also, Mizzou seems kind of like a few bad breaks away from having a good season and things might be different if those bad breaks went the other way. Does that hurt the perception of the Missouri job given how the team looked this season?
11:36 – 18:16: The lack of progression from Kelly Bryant was frustrating this season. Other than injuries, why did this offense fall apart?
18:17 – 22:46: Where does Bill see Mizzou falling as far as the openings in Power 5 and the SEC?
22:47 – 35:15: Mizzou is feeling pretty good about who they can get to come coach Football here for the foreseeable future, what are some of the options available that seem like the best fit? Lane Train? Billy Napier? Someone else?
35:16 – 38:06: Bill Connelly is in charge of hiring for Mizzou Football… Who is he choosing? And some reason to believe Lane could work at Mizzou.
38:07 – END: Thankfully, Bill was able to answer our last question, but the audio issues came up at the end! Anyways, final thoughts from Sam and Nate and be on the lookout for more Rock M Nation podcasts this week!

EMERGENCY PODCAST! As most of you know, Barry Odom was relieved of his duties on Saturday Morning following the final game of the season against Arkansas. Some saw the writing on the walls and others thought it could happen but given the NCAA news, they did not see it as a likely scenario.
Sam Snelling, BK, and Nate Edwards are here to break down the Barry Odom era now that it is over at Mizzou, some of their thoughts on why they thought it should or should not have happened. They also dive into what's next for Mizzou and offer a big board for you all. There is plenty of information coming in on this and it is very early, but let's get started and be sure to go to Rock M Nation dot com for all up to date coverage as Mizzou Football searches for its next head coach.

Dive Cuts returns with Sam Snelling and Matthew Harris after most would call that a lackluster showing from Mizzou in KC, right? The crew dives into what they saw, the path going forward and how Mizzou can navigate this not great stretch for Mizzou. Let’s dive in.
Episode Breakdown:
:15 – 2:03: Happy Early Thanksgiving! This is a pod to avoid your family (you’re welcome). Let’s pod!
2:04 – 6:50 Mizzou had a VERY not great Hall of Fame Classic…. Let’s digest it all!
6:51 – 14:07: The frustration of Mizzou fans makes sense, but how can Mizzou build on that in a positive way?
14:08 –26:49: Hey! That Mizzou defense is still pretty good, right?! We shall talk about that and other things that stood out in KC the last few days
26:50 – 35:40: So… Mizzou’s season if off to a start that they really did not want! The same hopes with Arkansas. There are only a few games left before Mizzou really gets their season rolling and KC did not offer that many answers.
35:41 – END: Mizzou has plenty of time left so if there is need for it, let’s adjust some expectations!

Welcome back Tiger Fans to another episode of Before the Box Score! The last one of the season that is previewing a game for the Mizzou Tigers. So…. Everyone should be aware of the news by now, and there will be plenty of time to dive into that and what it means (there have also been plenty of pieces on Rock M Nation dot com for that), but there’s still a game to preview! Nate Edwards returns and he is joined by Saul Malone who is a contributor over at Arkansas Fight and he is the host of the Wooo Pod Sooie Podcast! Nate and Saul talk about everything you need to know about this game as well as some of the potential coaches you could see for Arkansas next year. Coaching searches are always fun, right? Anyways, let’s get to it.
Episode Breakdown:
:15 – 3:25: It’s Arkansas Week! Welcome to Saul Malone, who is a contributing author at Arkansas Fight and host of the Wooo Pod Sooie podcast. The rivalry presented by Shelter Insurance doesn’t have quite the same feel this year, huh? What are Saul’s thoughts on the Tigers in the SEC since becoming a member 8 years ago?
3:26 – 9:00: It’s labeled a rivalry, but are Mizzou and Arkansas actually rivals? Geographically, sure. But do we want to be rivals? What’s the list of teams that Arkansas fans “hate” more than Missouri?
9:01 – 14:54: Chad Morris flamed out at Arkansas. What happened and why?
14:55 – 21:20: As teams have to do, you move on from a coach. Let’s talk about the coaching search that is looming for Arkansas. What are some scenarios that Arkansas fans think about/dream about?
21:21 – 25:01: Time to pivot to the game. It’s been a rough year for Arkansas (and Mizzou)… but what are some names Mizzou fans should lookout for against Arkansas on Friday?
25:02 – 29:02: What would an Arkansas win look like against Mizzou from a statistical perspective? And on the other side of the coin, what does Mizzou have to do in order to win on Friday?
29:03 – END: As with every BTBS Pod, final thoughts to wrap it all up and a prediction from the podcast! Last game of the season, so… last prediction for a game! Soak it in.
