She is a student-centred educator who teaches autistic children in a large urban school board. She is passionate about her work as an autism consultant which enables her to collaborate closely with students, teachers, and
families. Her students inspired her book, The Autism Lens, and their contributions are her favourite parts! Kara also designs and delivers professional development on autism for teachers and organizations. An instructor at the Ontario Institute for Studies
