Survival Mode...for most adoptees it's every day life. It's a life of being someone you aren't out of fear of more loss. And what's worse is, no one validates your scars. After all, you appear well adjusted and 'fine'. Before you know it, you are a grown adult that has no idea how to make healthy connections, how to make your own decisions without anxiety, how to live a life free of fear, how to love freely and allow love from others. How can one do that when you are in a constant state of self protection?

In this episode you will hear some of the things that helped me when coming out of the fog, and not just the adoption fog. I had buried myself so deep in a hole that I literally felt like I was dying from the inside out. The false identity I had built was crumbling all around me and I just couldn't keep up the façade anymore. My true and authentic self was trying to emerge like a butterfly out of a cocoon and boy was it painful! BUT so worth it! Let me tell you how to start the journey of coming home to yourself, your true authentic self and start living a life you love!
