Manaileng has extensive experience in commercial law, entertainment law, intellectual property law and aspects of information technology law.
Manaileng’s journey in providing legal services to the creative industry began in 2014 when she formed her legal consultancy, Yateletata Services (Pty) Ltd, which is a specialist legal advisory company providing services to the creative industry and SMME’s.
Manaileng has participated in numerous programmed and panels geared towards educating the creative industry especially on music licensing, intellectual property and contractual matters applicable to the entertainment and creative industry.
If you have had your eye on the entertainment industry and want to specialize in media or entertainment law, or if you just want to know more about this specialized field then this episode is for you. Manaileng gives easy to understand explanations of the two areas of practice and provides practical examples to help us understand the differences between the two.
