Most adoptees don't even know they are in the fog...until they come out and all hell breaks loose. It's like a blindfold has been lifted and you can't un-see what you are seeing. You can un-feel your feelings. 

You are forever changed and forced to face some hard facts about who you really are and why. You realize that trauma has shaped your life, maybe from the moment you were born. 

What is adoption fog? How do we get there, and how do we get out?

It can be scary and disorienting and can affect not just you, but everyone you have a relationship with.

BUT you are not alone and there is help and support out there for you.
