- সম্প্রতি ক্যানবেরায় বিনোদনের জন্য গাঁজার ব্যক্তিগত ব্যবহার বৈধতা পেয়েছে। ১৮ বছরের বেশি বয়সী ব্যক্তিরা সর্বোচ্চ ৫০ গ্রাম গাঁজা সঙ্গে রাখতে পারবেন। একই উদ্দেশ্যে বাড়িতে দু’টি গাঁজা গাছ রাখারও অনুমতি মিলেছে। এসবিএস বাংলার সঙ্গে এ বিষয়ে কথা বলেছেন ক্যানবেরা নিবাসী কমিউনিটি ব্যক্তিত্ব ও জিপি ডাক্তার মোশারফ হোসেইন।

Students come to Australia for better education from different countries of the world. Part-time work is also allowed for them while studying in Australia. So, like many other countries, Australia has become a destination for many Bangladeshi students.

পড়াশোনার জন্য সারাবিশ্বের শিক্ষার্থীদের কাছে অস্ট্রেলিয়া বরাবরই আকর্ষণীয় দেশ। উন্নত শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা, থাকার সুবিধা, এবং পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি পার্টটাইম কাজেরও সুযোগ পাওয়া যায় অস্ট্রেলিয়ায়। তাই অন্যান্য দেশের মত অসংখ্য বাংলাদেশী ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরও গন্তব্য হয়ে উঠেছে অস্ট্রেলিয়া।

The federal government is to undertake a major review into the Age Pension, compulsory superannuation and voluntary savings. While the opposition Labor Party says it fears it could result in cuts to retirement incomes, Seniors advocates support the inquiry but say more needs to be done to ensure all Australians can retire comfortably.
