This week on Schall We Talk, we are “upping the production value”… and somehow everything gets worse.
We talk about the surprise early episode upload from last week (oops), a full spiral about whether anyone even listens to the podcast, the sweetest DM that completely turned my week around, and then… Security and I decide to bring back the old days with...
Games.
If you ever wondered what it was like growing up in the Schall house - this is it. We break down childhood classics like Troll Bungee Jumping and Soda (yes, it was basically waterboarding), and then bring that same chaotic sibling energy into:
• Truth or Dare (featuring Dr. Piano Man and an elephant wedding entrance request)
• A Cosmo quiz about saying “I’m sorry” too much
• Mad Libs that absolutely spiral out of control
• Security dressed as an old lady for no good reason
It’s messy. It’s ridiculous. It’s very Season 2.
Thank you to everyone who listens, watches, comments, and messages. When you’re starting something new, that support means more than you know.
Producer Shout-Outs:

Deanna (confirming spelling soon!)
Susan Santoro

Okay friends! This is it. The wedding dress episode, and we’re giving you the full behind-the-scenes breakdown of my Kleinfeld day with Mama Schall… plus Security’s third Hinge date of January because apparently I’m running a dating bootcamp now.
In this episode we talk:
And we close out with Mama Schall’s Motherly Advice of the week: think before you speak… and if someone starts a sentence with “no offense,” cut them off immediately. THANK YOU.
If you want more behind-the-scenes wedding content (and the full dress videos), head over to Patreon: Schall We Talk
And if you’re watching on YouTube - subscribe, like, and comment. We’re on the road to 10,000 subscribers and we are clawing our way there one percent at a time.

This week on Schall We Talk, Robyn officially enters her bride era (she picked her wedding dress!) and then immediately descends into absolute cooking chaos.
Robyn heads into the kitchen to try viral cloud bread… which does not survive contact with egg yolk. Instead of giving up, she pivots mid-episode and accidentally invents a surprisingly delicious sprinkle sponge cake that may be the best thing she’s ever baked.
Along the way, Robyn answers listener advice questions, talks about love, anxiety, wedding excitement, and why sometimes messing up is exactly how you end up with something better than the original plan. Mama Schall debuts her new motherly advice segment, reminding everyone to put the phone down at night and choose peace (and sitcoms).
It’s messy, funny, heartfelt, and very on brand.

This week on Schall We Talk, it’s all all chaos, some celebrities and tsunami sized tampons.
Robyn kicks things off with “Is this celebrity a fact, true or false?” featuring Taylor Swift, Keanu Reeves, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Christopher Walken, and more… and yes, Security absolutely tries an impression (we will not be taking questions at this time).
Then Robyn’s best friend (and returning guest) Regina DiCicco stops by for a rapid-fire game: they name celebrities and have to share a real memory or behind-the-scenes moment they’ve never told (or barely told) before. Expect stories involving Leslie Jordan, John Lithgow, Michael Douglas, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Christina Applegate, and the time Selena Gomez used their audio and they ended up on Entertainment Tonight.
Plus: Dr. Piano Man pops in mid-recording, the number 10 wins the episode, and Mama Schall calls in from Saratoga… while actively trying to get back to her card game.

Season 2 premiere! 🎉
Schall We Talk is back and we’re kicking things off with a pop culture catch-up you didn’t know you needed. After a three-week hiatus, Robyn returns to the mic and sits down with her go-to pop culture friend, Belinda, to break down everything that went down while we were gone.
From the viral Cher / Kristen Bell / Dax Shepard podcast moment, to Timothée Chalamet thanking Kylie Jenner as his “partner of three years,” to Tom Brady and Alex Earle rumors in St. Barts to the toxic celebrity
mom group. Robyn and Belinda unpack Ashley Tisdale’s “toxic mom group” article, Hilary Duff’s husband clapping back, Meghan Trainor’s TikTok response, and why grown-up friendship drama somehow never stops being a thing.
Season 2 promises bigger conversations, more guests, and plenty of chaos — and this episode sets the tone perfectly.

Season 1 finale! 🎉
Robyn closes out the first season of Schall We Talk with a full chaos-and-heart episode. First up, it is game time: The Newlywed Game style showdown between Mama & Papa Schall vs Robyn & Dr. Piano Man. Who knows their partner better? Who secretly hates laundry more? And who is trying to win a trip to Mallorca?
After the game, Robyn sits down and walks through the 2025 Goals List and everything this wild year held: getting an ice cream flavor named after her, raising over $30k for Ronald McDonald House, boxing ring announcing, kissing under a waterfall in Japan, doing stand up in Spanish in Madrid, cheering at Stanford, getting the key to the city, visiting the Wicked set at Kelly Clarkson, popping up on Law & Order, and of course… getting engaged and planning a wedding in Mallorca.
She also looks ahead to Season 2, talks about what is coming while the show is on break, and reminds you where to hang out with her in the meantime: tour dates, Patreon, New Year’s Eve live, and more.
Season 2 of Schall We Talk returns January 15. 💗

Come into the “kitchen” (using that term very loosely) for a chaotic holiday treats episode of Schall We Talk
I attempt to decorate three “festive” cupcakes – Santa, Hanukkah, and a reindeer – while answering your holiday advice questions, including:
Then we switch gears and talk about one of my favorite things all year: the Ronald McDonald House livestream auction.
You’ll meet:
John – the kid who:
Michelle – One of the recognizable names of the auction the last two years
We wrap with some family gratitude, New Year’s Eve livestream talk, and Mama Schall’s producer shout-outs.
I hope this episode gives you the giggles and gets you in the holiday spirit.

Happy Thanksgiving, KIDS!
In this episode of Schall We Talk, Robyn kicks off the holiday by sharing what she’s truly grateful for this year: Security (yes, really), the kids, her parents, CIA, and of course, Dr. Piano Man. She also recaps her whirlwind California week:
Then we go full Thanksgiving chaos:
Plus, Mama Schall calls in for a health update on Papa Schall, shares what she’s grateful for, and gives the official Patreon Producer shout-outs.
Whether you’re celebrating Thanksgiving, half-listening while cooking, or watching from another country where this is just a random Thursday, you’re part of this family and we’re so thankful you’re here. ❤️

Robyn sits down with her lifelong friend and Broadway powerhouse Marissa Rosen to talk about growing up together on Long Island, chasing big theater dreams, and what it actually feels like to make your Broadway debut. Marissa shares how she landed “For the Girls” with Kristin Chenoweth, the very un-glamorous story behind her onstage concussion in Water for Elephants, and what it’s like to be the “character type” in an industry obsessed with leading ladies. They reminisce about middle school elections, bad wigs, and high school musicals, then wrap things up with a chaotic musical-humming game and a sweet (and slightly unhinged) drop-in from Mama Schall.
In this episode:
Robyn explains why this is actually episode 11, not 10, and what happened to the “lost” triathlon episode
How Robyn and Marissa met in pre-K and ended up doing school musicals together (Into the Woods, Jack’s mom, Little Red, the whole thing)
Marissa’s early break in My Big Gay Italian Wedding and how that show opened doors in NYC
The midnight “Broadway booty call” that led to her debut in For the Girls with Kristin Chenoweth
The moment onstage when she got to say, “I’m making my Broadway debut right now” and the theater exploded
Life as a working performer: off-Broadway, tours, workshops, and why being a “type” can actually be your superpower
The Water for Elephants concussion story: weighted hula hoops, flying rope, and finishing the show anyway
Bat Boy at City Center: massive theater, short rehearsal window, and stepping into Marissa Jaret Winokur’s role
Robyn & Marissa swap memories of middle school: class president, speeches, and failed treasurer campaigns
A musical humming game that completely falls apart (and somehow still lands on Little Shop and Sound of Music)
Quick chat about Marissa’s Christmas tour with Jessica Vosk and her holiday album with Marty Thomas, The Award Winning Holiday Album
Mama Schall calls in for the Patreon producer shout-outs and a tiny dose of chaos
