In this first episode of season two of the Her Spirit Podcast BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin and BBC Triathlon presenter Annie Emmerson talk to the BBC's Trust me I'm a Doctor, Dr Zoe Williams. Please note this podcast was recorded on Friday 20th March and has been updated to reflect the current Coronavirus situation in the UK
As well as a practising NHS GP in London, Zoe was recently named on the Pulse Power 50 list as one of the most influential GP’s in the country. Zoe is a passionate advocate of the benefits of physical activity and is a Public Health England clinical champion for physical activity and is also the founder of Fit4Life, an organisation that delivers workshops to children to inspire, educate and motive them to lead healthier lives.
Zoe talks to Louise and Annie about being in self isolation, coronavirus, the importance of being active and her passion for health and fitness and how she accidentally became 'Amazon' in Gladiators.
Louise, Annie and Zoe also answer questions from the Her Spirit Community about coronavirus and how to stay physically and mentally active and well during a time of mass isolation and national uncertainty.
