For all intents & purposes, Carl Eric “Charlie” Brandt seemed like a completely even-keeled, happy person. He was in what appeared to be a happy marriage that others envied, but it turned out he was hiding an exceptionally deep, dark secret. This case highlights the question: Do we ever truly know the full depths of another person?
