The fifth planet was the smallest. There were only a street lamp and a lamplighter on it. "Good morning. Why have you just put out your lamp?""Good morning. It is the rule: to light the lamp in the daytime; to put it out in the nighttime.""Daytime? The planet is so small. It makes a complete turn every minute.""So I have to light the lamp and put it out once every minute" Little Prince liked this dutiful man. But this planet was too small. He had to leave.

One the sixth planet lived an old gentleman.  "What are you doing?" "I'm a geographer. I am writing books about seas, rivers, and deserts."

"Interesting! Is thère any ocean on your planet?" "I couldn't tell." "But you are a geographer!" "True. But I'm not an explorer!"

"Okay, but I like going around. And which planet would you advise me to visit now?"

"The Earth" answered the old man.

So the seventh planet was the Earth. Little Prince landed in the desert and met a snake.

"Why do you come here?" asked the snake. "I had some trouble with a flower" "Ah!" said the snake.

"You are tiny! Just like a finger!" Little Prince said.

"But I can be very powerful! Whomever I bite won't live long. But you're innocent, so I won't hurt you" Little Prince crossed the desert and came across a garden.

"Good morning," he said. "Good morning," said the flowers.

Little Prince gazed at them. They all looked like his flower. "Who are you?" he asked in surprise. "We are roses," the flowers said.

And Little Prince was very sad. "I thought my flower was unique, but there are so many flowers almost the same as her!"

A fox appeared. Little Prince said, "Come and play with me.""I cannot, because

I'm not tamed." "What does that mean tame?"

"It means to establish ties."

"I see. There is a flower.

I think she has tamed me..

said Little Prince.

Later Little Prince met a railway switchman. "What do you do here?'

Little Prince asked. "I sort out travelers"

"What are the travelers looking for?"

"They don't know."

"Only children know what they are

looking for," said Little Prince.

"They are lucky" the switchman said.

It was the eighth day since I had met Little Prince.

He decided to go home. "You know-my flower... I want to protect her."

"But I want to hear your laughter.." I said. "At night, When you look into the sky,

I will be laughing to you. Then I saw a flash of yellow. He fell on the ground.

I knew that he had gone back to his planet. If you see a little man in the desert, with golden hair and a smile, he is Little Prince.

I was a pilot. I always flew alone. Six years ago, my plane was broken. I had to land in a desert. When I was fixing it, I heard a very low voice. "Would you please draw me a sheep?" Then I saw a very small person. That was Little Prince.

He smiled at me and asked for a picture of sheep again.I draw a sheep. He looked at it carefully, and said, "No. This sheep is sick" So I made another drawing. "This is a ram. I want a sheep." I drew over once more. But he was still not satisfied. "This one is too old." I became impatient. So I drew a box and said to him, "The sheep is inside." "That is exactly what I want. Look, he has fallen asleep!" I was very surprised to hear that.Little Prince told me that he had a flower on his planet. He watched her grow from a seed. One morning, she suddenly bloomed. She was so beautiful. He fell in love with her. One day she said, "It's very cold here. In the place that I came from. She stopped and said nothing more. As a matter of fact, this planet was the only place she had ever known. She was lying. Little Prince decided to leave. Soon, Little Prince came to the first planet on his journey. The king there liked to give orders. Little Prince was tired, so he yawned. "I order you not to yawn," the king said. "I can not help it""Then I order you to yawn." Little Prince yawned. Then he said, "Can I ask you a question?" "I order you to do so" the king said. "Why do adults like to give orders?" Little Prince yawned again and left. 

On the second planet lived a conceited man.

"Good morning" said Little Prince. 

"Say you admire me. Clap your hands." "What does 'admire' mean?" "It means that you regard me as the most handsome and the smartest man on the planet.!"

"But you are the only one on the planet!" "Do me this kindness. Say you admire me!"

"I admire you" Little Prince said, "This man loved himself too much" Then he left.

On the third planet, there lived a man who loved drinking so much. "Why are you drinking?" asked Little Prince. "To forget, answered the man. "Forget what?" "Forget what I feel ashamed of!'"Ashamed of what?" "Ashamed of drinking."

Then the man began to drink again. "In that way, you keep on making mistakes!" Little Prince felt confused and left.

On the fourth planet, there was a merchant. "Hi!" said Little Prince. "Three and two is five. Hi. Five and seven is twelve... Aha, it's five hundred and one million!"

"Five hundred and one million what?" "I am busy! Three and two is five..."the man began counting again.

At last, Little Prince understood. This man was counting stars. He thought all the stars belong to him. "This man is greedy. Stars belong to nobody," Little Prince thought. Then he left.

Once upon a time, there was merchant. He had three daughters. The youngest one was called Belle. She was beautiful and smart. So her two sisters were jealous of her. Unlike her sisters, she didn't like dressing up but enjoyed reading. Her two sisters always laughed at her, but Belle never got angry.

One day the merchant was going on a business trip. The two sisters asked their father to buy them dresses and jewelry but Belle asked for nothing. She only wanted her father to come back safely.

“Don't you want any gift?" the merchant asked Belle“Maybe you could pick a rose for me, she said.

Unfortunately the merchant was robbed and he had to go back home empty-handed. What's worse, he got lost in a forest Hearing the howls of wolves, his horse got scared and ran away The wind was blowing hard in the dark night, and the merchant was terrified. He felt he would be eaten up by wolves or die of hunger.

Just at that time the merchant saw a palace. He went inside and found nobody there.But there was a lot of delicious food on the table. He was so hungry, and he began to eat and drink.

After the meal the merchant found a bedroom in the palaceHe went to bed and soon fell asleep.

When the merchant woke up the next morning he found a new suit on the chair.He was so surprised.“What a magical palace!” he thought.

The merchant looked out of the window and saw a garden with beautiful roses. He thought of Belles request. So he went into the garden and picked one rose for her.

Suddenly, a beast appeared.

“I treated you with kindness, but you stole my favourite rose!" the beast roared. “l will eat you up!"

“Please forgive me!" the merchant begged.“My daughters need me."

“Well, I'll give you three days to go home and say goodbye to them. lf one of your daughters is willing to die for you, I will forgive you," the beast said.

When the merchant went back home, his daughters welcomed him happily. He gave Belle the rose.“Dear keep it well. I gave my life for it" he said sadly.

After hearing his story, the two sisters scolded Belle“I will go to the beast for Papa" Belle said calmly.

Although the merchant didn't agree, Belle insisted on doing so.

Three days passed and the merchant and Belle were to set off Belles two sisters only pretended to be sad.

When they arrived at the palace the beast was waiting for them in the hallBelle was frightened by his horrible appearance. But when the beast asked whether she was willing to die for her father, she nodded bravely.

“Good girl, stay here.Your father can go now" the beast said. The poor merchant wept and left.

Belle thought she would be eaten at once, but the beast talked with her very kindly, and gave her a beautiful room with shelves full of books Belle picked up one book and saw some golden words on it:“You can have whatever you want."

“l only want to know what Papa is doing"Belle said to herself.

All of a sudden she saw her father in the mirror besideHe looked quite sad.

Three months passed.The beast came to see Belle every day. Belle was not afraid of the beast anymoreBut when the beast proposed to her, she refused. She had never thought of marrying an ugly beast.

One day, Belle begged the beast to let her go to see

her family “If you stay away too long your poor beast will die!" the beast said sadly.“ will be back in a week" Belle promised.

When Belle woke up the next morning, she found herself at home Beside her was a trunk filled with beautiful dresses. Belle knew they had been sent by the beast.

Her sisters were jealous of her nice clothes. They asked Belle to stay at home longer.They hoped that the beast would get angry and eat Belle. When Belle was ready to go back, they pretended to be weeping and urged her to stay a little longer. Belle was moved and decided to stay.

That night, Belle dreamed of the beast. In the dream, he was lying in the garden, almost dead.

Belle felt worried. She found herself in love with the beast She wanted to marry him.“He was so nice to me, but broke his heartWhy can't I marry him? Although he is ugly, he is so kind.I will. be happy if I marry him"she thought.

Belle couldn't wait to see him. She left for the palace at once.

When Belle opened the gate of the palace, she saw an empty hall. The beast didn’t come to welcome her Belle thought of her dream, so she rushed to the garden. Just as in her dream, the beast was lying on the grass unconscious.“My dear beast, please wake up. Now l know how important you are to me.I want to marry you and be with you forever!" Belle cried.

Just then, beautiful fireworks lit the garden and music played. To Belle's surprise the ugly beast disappeared. And a handsome prince was standing in front of her.

Belle asked the prince if he had seen the beast“I am your beast!"the prince laughed.Actually the prince had been turned into a beast by a witch. Only when a beautiful girl was willing to marry him, would the curse be broken.

Belle and the prince held a grand wedding and lived happily ever after.

Some orcas feed on only fish. They usually find enough to eat close to shore.

Others feed on seals and whales that travel through the ocean.

Those orcas may feed near shore.

More often their food chase takes them farther.

Orcas live in groups. Each group is called a pod. Pods are made up of several families.

Orcas stay with their pod their whole lives.

An orca dives as it swims. It often comes to the surface, because it breathes air.

An orca breathes through a blowhole on top of its head.

Muscles keep the blowhole closed when the orca is underwater.

A younger calf swims alongside its mother.

Orca calves learn by copying what the adults do.

A calf learns to poke its head up out of the water.

That's called spy-hopping.

Orcas spy-hop to see what's above the water.

Young calves practice leaping out of the water.

Leaping helps orcas swim fast.

Older calves play together. They leap over one another.

They also play by pushing their tails up and slapping them down hard.

SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!

Orcas talk with clicks. They also whistle and squeak.

Each pod has its own way of using sounds to talk.

Calves copy their mothers to learn to talk to their pod.

Pods use teamwork to hunt. Calves join in to learn what to do.

Sometimes orcas use their clicking sounds to hunt.

Sound waves hit schools of fish and bounce back as echoes.

That's how orcas hunt in dark waters.

A calf drinks its mother's milk for the first two years of its life.

The rich milk helps the calf grow a layer of fat called blubber.

The blubber keeps an orca warm in cold ocean waters.

Orca calves have a full set of teeth when they are born.

Each tooth is long and sharp. 

Calves will use these teeth to catch food when they are older.

Orcas share meals. Food sharing is a big part of being a family.

Orcas sleep in the ocean. 

While resting, orcas swim slowly and stay close to each other.

When an orca rests, only half of its brain goes to sleep.

The other half stays alert so the whale can swim to the surface to breathe while it is sleeping.

As the calves get older, they grow bigger.

Males grow to around 22 feet (6.7 meters) long.

Females are usually a little smaller.

Males also grow a bigger dorsal fin than the females.

The dorsal fin is the tall fin on their backs.

By age five, the calves help the other orcas in the pod hunt.

Being an orca could be cool for a while.

But would you want to live in the ocean?

Before I was born, Supers ruled! They kept the world safe from bad guys.

My dad was Mr.Incredible.He was the best Super and always wanted to work alone

My mom, Elastigirl was famous, too. She could slug a criminal from down the block

Then the Supers got into trouble.Peoplestopped wanting to be saved.They started thinking that the Supers caused problems.

They told the Supers to quit being heroes. The Supers went into hiding.They pretended to be normal.

Mr. Incredible became Bob Parr.Violet and I were Supers, but Jack-JackElastigirl became Helen Parr.Then they had us kids. She also made force fields. Violet and I was normal. Violet could turn invisible. We sometimes used our Super powers when we argued. Mom had a problem with that.

Mom had bigger problems with Dad. He still wanted to be a Super.One time his boss would not let him save someone. Dad gave him a tiny push But it was a Super push. Dad lost his ob.

Then Dad got a message to go on a top-secret mission.Dad wanted to go. He kept it a secret. If Dad got caught being a Super, our family would have to move again.

Dad's mission was to defeat a big robot. It was called the Omnidroid. The Omnidroid was a smart robot. It was really hard to beat.

But Dad was still the best Super.He tricked the robot and won! Then Dad got more secret hero work. This time there was a more powerful Omnidroid. It defeated Dad!

That's when Dad found out that his boss was a bad guy! His name was Syndrome.He created the Ominidroids.

Syndrome wanted to be a Super. He had a big plan.

He would send the Omnidroid to attack the cityThen he would defeat the Omnidroid himself and look like a Super.

Dad found Syndrome’s computer. He learned that Syndrome had destroyed most of the Supers.Then Syndrome caught him!

Mom figured out that Dad had not been going to work She was really mad.Mom packed her Super suit.She had to go find Dad. Violet and I got Super suits, too. But we had to stay home.

Violet and I snuck onto Mom’s jet.Mom was not happy about that. But before she got too angry, Syndrome attacked us.

We landed safely in the ocean.Then Mom stretching powers are awesome. Mom went to save Dad. My mom became a boat. I got to be the motor!I used my Super speed. When we reached the shore, Mom left Violet and me in a cave. For the first time ever, she told us to use our powers if the bad guys found us.

Cool!

MeanwhileI explored the cave. I saw a huge ball of fireViolet and Iran for our lives!

We made it out of the cave.Then Syndrome’s guards raced after us. Violet turned invisible. I ran Super fast!

Mom found Dad. They figured out we were in trouble. They raced to the rescue. I could see why they had been the best Supers ever!

They were surprised at how Super Violet and I were, too. We were one Super family.

Then Syndrome trapped us.

He used one of his inventions, since he's not aNow Syndrome was ready to go through

real Super.with his plan. He headed into the city to pretend to defeat his own robot.

After Syndrome took offViolet slipped into her force field and escaped. She set us free, too. Now we had to stop Syndrome! I saw one of Syndrome's rockets.

It was the only thing that could get us to the city in time.

People cheered for him.His plan was working Meanwhile, the Omnidroid was wrecking the city.Syndrome pretended to fight the giant robot with his remote control.

The Omnidroid figured out that Syndrome was controlling it.It knocked out Syndrome and the remote control.

Mom had been holding a camper to the rocket. When she let go, we headed right toward Syndrome and the Omnidroid. We soared toward the city in the camper.We got there just in time!

Dad wanted to fight alone, just the way he used to. But Mom said we were a family.Wed have to fight together. And that's just what we did! We defeated Syndrome. Awesome!

We have the best family! We still pretend to be normal.

But when a villain bullies the world, my family, THE INCREDIBLES, is there to save the day!

This is Dory. Dory is forgetful.When Dory was young, her parents collected shells and made trails for her to follow so she would always find her way home.

One day, Dory spotted a pretty purple shell in the distance. She wasn't allowed to swim that far. But Dory forgot.

Dory was just about to pick up the shell when-Whoosh! she was pulled away by the undertow. She couldn't find her way home. Eventually, she forgot what she was looking for.

Marlin was far from home, too. No one was able to help. He was looking for his son Nemo

And then she crashed into Marlin.

Dory helped Marlin cross the ocean and find Nemo.She went to live with them in the coral reef. She finally had a new home.

One day, Dory went with Nemo’s class on a field trip to see the stingray migration. Dory got pulled into the undertow!

When Dory returned to safety, she was flooded with memories of her mom and dad.

Marlin and Nemo joined Dory on her trip across the ocean.. all the way to Morro Bay, where she was scooped up and taken away!

She remembered where she was from! Dory wanted to go home

Dory found herself in a tank inside the Marine Life InstituteThis was where she was from.A cranky sept-opus seven-armed octopus named Hank greeted Dory and agreed to help her find her family.

He had three hearts, after all.

“Dory, is that you?” 

But Dory was tossed into the Whale Shark pool which is where Dory met Destiny. When Destiny heard Dory speak Whale, she couldn’t believe it. When Dory lived at the Marine Life Institute,Dory and Destiny had been pipe pals!

They used to talk through the pipes that connected their tanks. Destiny knew where Dory had grown up!

“Your Whale has gotten really good,Destiny said.

Thaaannnk yoouuu!

Hank soon joined them. Dory told Destiny and her neighbour, Bailey, a beluga whale, that she was looking for her familyDestiny told Dory to take the pipes to the OpenOcean exhibit.

That was where she would find her family. Dory was worried she would get lost in the pipes, so she found another way.

Hank and Dory rolled...

...swam..

“You'll forget me in a heartbeat.Three heartbeats. Now go find your family, said Hank.

Dory asked around for help, but no one knew where her family was. Then she saw something..and swung across the Institute to the Open Ocean exhibit Dory was sad to 

say goodbye to Hank. She would miss him. But he wanted to go to Cleveland.

Dory found her house! But it was empty. Suddenly,Dory was filled with memories.She remembered her mom and dad hugging her. She had to find them! Dory spotted a purple shell in the distance.

As she swam toward it she met a crab who told her if she went through the pipes, she would find her parents. She followed the directions and ended up in the ocean!She was all alone again.

...and she found her mom and dad! Dory was home again surrounded by her family and all of her friends.

Dory worried that she'd never find her way home. Then she spotted another shell, and another.

Dory followed a trail of shells.….

"Drink Me" She drank it and became smaller. Then Alice saw a piece of cake

under the table, the cake read "Eat Me." "Nice! I am hungry! "she said.

Then she ate the cake. After she ate the cake, Alice grew taller and taller. Alice felt scared and started to cry. Her big teardrops formed a pool! At this moment, the

rabbit ran past her again. He was very scared, and he dropped his gloves and

fan. Alice picked up the fan and fanned herself. She became smaller again! But

she was so small that she fell into the pool of her own tears!

Then Alice met a mouse. "Hello! Do you like cats? I have a pet cat called Dinah. She catches a lot of mice!" The mouse was scared. "Oops! I'm so silly!" "Why do you paint the white roses red?" "Because the Queen of Hearts hates white!" "But why?" Alice asked. The poker soldiers were too busy to answer her.

At that moment, the Queen of Hearts came. She shouted loudly,

"Why are there still white roses? Off with their heads!" The poker soldiers were dragged away. "How can you be so cruel?" Alice said angrily.

"Who are you? How dare you argue with me!" 'I'm Alice. I'm just telling the truth!"
