  • Rich Auntie Vibes | Episode 67

Besties, we're serving HOT TEA and existential crises this week! Jerrilyn Lake (aka Indeskribeabull) and Lynee’ Monae are back with another chaotic episode of the She Said It First podcast where we're discussing why the Instagram algorithm has us in a chokehold, why making friends in your 30s hits different, and how to gracefully ghost a bestie who no longer sparks joy. We're getting vulnerable about becoming our mothers (the audacity!), why our backs hurt from just existing, and how tequila is now our sworn enemy. Plus, we're sharing the tea on what happens when you realize your childhood bestie and you are living in completely different universes - spoiler alert: it's not always messy, sometimes you just... drift. And because we can't help ourselves, we're also dragging certain political figures who think they can buy their way into heaven (sir, this is not a Wendy's). Grab your wine (preferably that Sauvignon Blanc we're still hunting for) and settle in for another episode of your favorite millennials oversharing for your entertainment.

  • That Mercury is in Gatorade | Episode 66

Episode 66 of She Said It First feels like the ultimate group chat you didn’t know you needed. Jerrilyn Lake (aka Indeskribeabull) and Lynee’ Monae kick things off by blaming all of life’s chaos on “Mercury in Gatorade”—because what else explains bad moods, tangled microbraids, and that one cousin who’s always “just not okay”? The ladies break down what Mercury retrograde actually is and drag it for all the inconveniences of the past three weeks. They even debate if folks are just manifesting messiness once they hear Mercury’s acting up—though Lynee’ insists her life was already headed straight for the toilet bowl, no astrology required.

But the laughs don’t stop there. The duo dives into the “male loneliness epidemic,” clowning the way men avoid deep conversations with their friends—like how you could lose your job and still tell the boys you’re “just chilling.” They challenge men to actually check in with each other (and maybe read past the first line of a text) because “do a little more” applies to everything—convos, hygiene, and yes, even wiping.

The show caps off with pure comedy gold: from people online thinking they can fight gorillas, to Trick Daddy claiming women over 35 are “damaged goods.” The verdict? Sir, you are the damage.

This week on The She Said It First Podcast, Jerrilyn Lake aka Indeskribeabull and Lynee’ Monae discusses various topics, but before they get into that, they tell the fans What Irritated Them this week. Jerrilyn hates a mean girl and wants all of them to stay away from her. As for Lynee’, please do not tell her about her hair, nails, or makeup if you are not paying for it. You pay to build-a-bear, you must pay to build-a-b%$ch.

Is it a red flag if they do not do the things that they are supposed to do for their health, like drink water, exercise, or go to the doctor. The host also spoke about the wave of “ratchet” women rappers like Sexyy Red, Pluto, and others. They talk about how their music is impacting people and will it last.

The conversation transitioned to Girl Talk, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about attire in the workplace, especially for black women. They spoke about while black women like to express themselves with their hair, makeup, etc... but what should not be worn in the workplace. Also, it is vacation time. And if you have that special person, who is paying for this baecation?
