1. My stop is approaching. 我要下车的站快到了。

火车、地铁的车站通常用 station，公交车只做短暂停留的车站是 stop，公交车起始站也叫 station。

汽车“驶近”“接近”用 approach，也可以说 get near 或 get close。

2. I get off the train. 我下火车/地铁。

get off “下车”， get on “上车”。

I get off the train at the next station. 我在下一站下车。 

把 train 换成 bus：

I get off the bus. 我下(公交）车。

I get off the bus at the next stop. 我在下一站下（公交）车。

“下车” 还可以说 step out of，“走出”“离开”的意思。

坐过站 I miss the station. 第2课学过 miss “错过”，miss  the train 错过火车/没赶上火车。

3. The person in front of me is going to get off. 我前面的人要下车。

in front of 多指“地点、场所”上的“之前”；

before 可以指“空间”和“时间”上的“之前”，不过一般多用于“时间”上的“之前”。 

有时候人很多，挤不到门口去，可以说 Excuse me. I'm getting off here. Let me through. 劳驾，我要在这里下车，请让我过去。

如果时间太短，来不及说那么长，就简单说：Excuse me. Let me out. Let me out! 劳驾，让我下车，让我下车！
