So begins the outline for a new novel for Grades 3 to 7 by Fredericton author Wendy McLeod McKnight. It's called The Frame-up.

One of those farms is Alva Farm in Kent County. Alain Rouselle owns it with his partner Eva Rehak, and they're now also teaching others about their techniques.

The mud and plants along the Bay of Fundy store large amounts of what researchers call 'blue carbon,' with the potential of producing millions in carbon-offset credits. Environment and Climate Change Canada is conducting a study of how much carbon is stored along the Bay of Fundy coastline. Lead researcher Gail Chmura said she's been looking at a marsh in Dipper Harbour, which soaked up and locked in carbon dioxide for 3,000 years.

A theatre piece all about New Brunswick is touring several communities next month. A Record of Us debuted a couple of years ago at Notable Acts in Fredericton. It was the first piece by The Coop, and relied heavily on inspiration from the works of David Adams Richards. Two years later the show is returning to Saint John, Moncton and Sackville, says Coop member Lisa Anne Ross.
