Eva George is turning a summer rock camp for girls into a weekly jam session at Fredericton's Charlotte Street Arts Centre. Starting March 15, the girls learn about instruments, songwriting, merchandising and everything else you need to know about making it in the world of music.

Hence why Moncton's Ana Bedard started her own online business last October, making made-to-order clothes for customers who send in their measurements. She's even hoping to launch an app to help others create patterns that really fit.

A team of New Brunswick and U.S. researchers have discovered a way to let patients 'feel' their prosthetic arms move. Jon Sensinger, associate director of UNB's Institute of Biomedical Engineering, said they use small robots that create vibrations on the skin to allow for the senses to activate.

The New Brunswick Health Council released its latest survey on Primary Health. It asked more than 14,000 people about access to a family doctor. CEO Stephane Robichaud said the results were not exactly surprising but point to problems with access to primary care. For example, an estimated 47,000 New Brunswickers who have a family doctor still use the Emergency Room regularly for care.

Several news outlets recently reported about a hidden colony of 1.5 million Adélie penguins on the Danger Islands just off Antarctica. But birder Alain Clavette said the penguins weren't quite as 'undiscovered' as one might think.
