The communist milieu lost a titan last week. Our kind friend and mentor, Loren Goldner (1949-2024), passed away on Friday, April 12th 3:00am, at age of 76. سانگل پنجم: دست‌های مادربزرگ

به آخر داستان گروه نیروانا رسیدیم. توی پنج قسمت قبلی داستان این گروه رو، از قبل از تولد کرت کوبین شروع کردیم و قدم به قدم اومدیم جلو: شکل گیری نیروانا با حضور کرت کوبین و کریست نووسلیچ، چندین بار عوض شدن درامرشون، قرارداد بستن با کمپانی ساب پاپ، انتشار آلبوم اول گره به اسم بلیچ با حضور درامری به اسم چد چنینگ، اخراج چد و فسخ قرارداد گروه با کمپانی ساب پاپ، قرارداد بستن با کمپانی گفن رکوردز و اضافه شدن دیو گرول به نیروانا، شروع کار روی آلبوم دوم، یعنی نورمایند، و در نهایت انتشار این آلبوم و بازخوردی که داشت و تاثیری که تونست روی دنیای موسیقی و فرهنگ جوونهای اوایل دهه نود بذاره. حالا توی این قسمت که میشه بخش ششم و آخر از سریال نیروانا، تک تک آهنگهای آلبوم نورمایند رو براتون باز میکنم و توضیح میدم که هر کدوم چطوری ساخته شده. و در انتهای اپیزود، روایت دردناک سرنوشت کرت کوبین رو با جزییات لازم براتون تعریف میکنم

توی قسمت قبلی رسیدیم به اونجایی که بالاخره نیروانا، بعد از کلی ماجرا، تونست برسه به درامری که دلش میخواد. یه آرتیست جوون، به قول خودشون بچه دیل کراور، به اسم دیو گرول. با حضور گرول، کار روی آلبوم جدید شروع شد. منتهی، توی پروسه کار، نیروانا متوجه شد که نمیتونه روی کمک و مدیریت کمپانی طرف قراردادش، یعنی ساب پاپ، حساب کنه. توی این قسمت ادامه داستان رو میشنوین، که نیروانا چطوری از قرارداد با ساب پاپ اومد بیرون، کجا رفت، و چطوری آلبوم دومش، یعنی نورمایند رو ضبط و نهایی کرد.

If you're reading this, you're a steadfast supporter of the Acoustic Tuesday Show. I've released a weekly show focused on all things acoustic guitar for over five years. When people ask me what I do, I say I teach guitar and host a weekly show on YouTube. 
Needless to say, the Acoustic Tuesday Show is a big part of my identity. To let it go is absolutely terrifying. Any change to your identity is complicated. If you've retired or changed the kind of work you do, you know what I'm talking about.
But there's a reason why change happens. I'm fortunate enough to have a fantastic family that I know I want to spend more time with. Ending the Acoustic Tuesday show gives me more flexibility to focus on high-quality guitar content and spend time with my family in a way that will be more meaningful and impactful to both you and me. 
Acoustic Tuesday will end, but my time on YouTube is far from over. My goal is to become the best guitar guide on the internet. I want to create a place where you can be supported in mind, body, and spirit in your guitar journey.

On today's episode of Acoustic Tuesday, we're going down memory lane. This particular memory lane is six years long, with endless bits of wisdom sprinkled all along the way. There truly is no shortage of things to learn from the Acoustic Tuesday catalog.
So, what's up with all the nostalgia?
There are some changes coming to the Acoustic Tuesday show. But before you go through a period of change, it's nice to take stock of where you've been and where you are right now.
Reflection is a practice in gratitude. It grounds you. It makes you remember why you do things in the first place. 
And when it comes to your guitar journey, reflection is most likely one of the best things you can do on a big-picture level. Because if you don't stop to smell the roses every once in a while, what are you gardening for?

Less than 30 is your normal state. 35-50 - I’d love to end this, but it is bearable. 50-75 - extremely difficult to bear. 75-90 - I wish to be dead with all my heart. 90+ - I’m on my way to the place. Literally. Well, I am suicidal. I’ve been thinking about it all my life as an adult and the events taking place from the day this episode was published to the present day have greatly changed the state of my mind. But let’s take one step at a time.24.02 It’s 6 am and I’m crying. I’m devastated. The previous day feels so distant, like it took place years ago. The world has changed. Left several links to the charity in Ukraine.I’m no longer suicidal in the way it was before. I began to perceive others as enemies. “I tried to help Ukraine, I fight the authoritarian regime of a madman with all possible forces, and this is the way I’m treated in a modern world? Then I’m against you.”03.03 - 07.03. This is the time when I still think I can change my life and do my best. I’m anxious, but I don’t think about killing myself (everything is relative, of course). Nazism is my new everyday word (even though it is not quite correct). The country that recently had BLM hates the whole nation. Hypocrites. Where shit like this can’t happen, where I feel safe, where I have opportunities, where I have faith, where I know it can get better, where everyone isn’t trying to scam me, where I can plan having a kid and not think of it like it is a disaster.Making plans how to become independent of the place and the world. 10.03 Trying to forget by immersing myself in films. Deleted hundreds of podcasts one by one. I thought that it might help me, or by expressing my protest in the form of such counter-sanctions. I know how it sounds. Do you know what it's like when you try’re trying to revert to suicidal thoughts? Simply because you at least know how to handle them and what to expect. And I don’t even know how much time I should give myself to try (and I also know that it works now like that). You can’t even imagine how scary this is, not to be able to do so. By the way, this deadline helped me a little, but I can’t recommend it.And now here it comes. The end of this story. Sounds rather dramatic, but no, this is not what you think it is. So, I need to make another promise, which I’ll break anyway. This is the last time when I write anything in these descriptions. I have to handle everything by myself.	I. Hate. Everything.
