Sometimes I don’t think cheerleaders get the credit they deserve…
Hear me out on this one.
Have you ever thought about the role of a cheerleader at a game?
The whole point of the cheerleader is to get the crowd going, right? When they get the crowd cheering and celebrating, the team gets excited. And when they’re excited, it fuels them to perform better.
So if cheerleaders are SUCH an important part to the momentum to a game, why do WE as business owners struggle so much with celebration?
I've noticed that for many people, including myself, celebrating our achievements can be a challenge.
It's all too easy to focus on what didn't go as planned, rather than acknowledging and celebrating our accomplishments.
In this episode of the podcast, I want to stress that taking the time to celebrate is not just about feeling good. It's a crucial part of maintaining momentum in your business. We will discuss the importance of celebrating achievements in business. We will also touch on how internal momentum can lead to external success.
This episode is all about learning how to feel good about the work you’ve done, you’re doing, and what you will do as a business owner. Get ready to learn how to appreciate YOU better this episode!

Can we all agree that being a business owner is such an emotional rollercoaster?
Owning a business comes with both highs and lows, twists and turns…
And sometimes it’s the lows, twists and turns that really put your stomach and anxiety into excruciating knots.
But your business does NOT have to make you feel this way when you’re going through the “normal motions” as a business owner. It is completely normal to feel vulnerability, frustration, and anxiety as a business owner.
However, the way we handle these different vulnerabilities is what makes the difference between a good business owner, and a great one!
With 2024 creeping up in the next few weeks, I thought this would be a perfect time to chat more about how to handle these big emotions as a business owner.
On today’s episode of Simple Online Business, I’m giving you 5 tips on things you can do to feel better when you’re having a down business day. The most important thing is that you build up your own toolkit of things that work for you - so my intention is that at least one of these will really resonate for you and be something you can reliably turn to when you need a little boost.

When you think of goal setting, what are some thoughts that immediately come to mind?
For some, it’s: overwhelm, stress, anxiety, and fear. And because of these feelings, some business owners will just run their businesses without setting goals.
If you’re this kind of business owner, then are you really working towards goals?
Or, are you simply just doing things for your business to check them off of a list?
I think it’s time for us to rewrite the narrative when it comes to goal setting…
And make it both a fun and challenging direction in your business!
Will we immediately find things that work for us and for our business?
No! But that’s part of the process, right?
Finding things that work for us, and allowing ourselves to learn along the way.
On this episode of the podcast, we are going to chat about the role of self-doubt and imposter syndrome when it comes to goal setting. But in order to see business growth, we as business owners need to overcome these negative emotions we feel, and learn how to embrace failure as part of the goal setting process.

Overwhelm is a bad feeling, and I think we can all agree with that.
It doesn't feel good in any aspect of our lives, and for a lot of people, it's really a shutdown emotion when it comes to running a business.
Many of us will just say, “I won’t get to a place of overwhelm. I won’t let that happen in my business.”
But let’s be honest…
Saying that you want to avoid being overwhelmed in your business is easier said than done.
But there are steps you can take to either avoid it, or manage it better!
In this week’s episode of the podcast, we are going to dive deeper into the concept of overwhelm in business. I will also divulge for you some of my favorite, but necessary steps you can take, to make sure you can avoid being overwhelmed wherever it may try to creep into your business.

Welcome to the end of what was the beginning of my podcast experience as a business mentor. If you’ve caught an episode or two of our most recent episodes, I’ve talked about how I am retiring this podcast and launching a brand new podcast from scratch in January 2023.
So, I wanted to have an official kind of retrospective episode. An episode reflecting and talking about all of the changes and nuances that come with creating a new podcast, and sharing some of my thought process around it.
I have been putting this podcast out there for four and a half years. I started in the middle of 2018, so that's four and a half years. And I think for many of you listening, the idea of stopping an established and successful podcast seems like a terrifying leap of faith.
But it is so exciting to me. There is so much I have learned and experienced as a business owner because of this podcast, and I am SO excited to take you on this journey of reflection at the end of the path of Online Business Building Mamas.
This week, I will share and chat with you about the things I believe should be the staples in growing a stable and consistent business. While also, being able to build balance into your current commitments and people in your life.
