On this week episode I sit down with Sinead Barry. Let me start by saying at point during our conversation

Sinead asked me if i was okay, that sums up Sinead. This episode was extremely difficult, I could not contain my emotions and wept openly throughout, Sinead is a special kind of person , so strong and dedicated, dedicated to her family, to Mike and to keeping Mikes memory alive.

On the 23rd March 2019 after a short illness and at 32 years of age Mike passed away surrounding by Sinead and his family, leaving Sinead and their children behind.

Sinead shares some wonderful memories with me but most importantly Sinead shares Mike with me a man who put Sinead, their children and their dreams first, a joker and his no nonsense approach "It is what it is " attitude. 

Mike was a forward thinker and when Mikes sister got in touch to DIYSOS to finish their dream home I have no doubt Mike was there at the side-lines watching down on them.

As she watches the sunrise with her coffee every morning she is very aware it is all very surreal and bittersweet.

With Mikes anniversary coming up next week I am very grateful to you Sinead, so Follow, follow the sun and which way the wind blows when this day is done.
