In this solo episode, I discuss how we can be effective in our practice. We often set our goals to achieve a certain amount or perform specific procedures. But how can we reach these goals quickly and yield better results? In dental practice, effectiveness and efficiency are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct differences. In reality, we can strive for efficiency as much as we want, but we will eventually reach a limit. On the other hand, being effective means maximizing what we have at our disposal for the greater good.

How to be an Effective Dental Clinic this 2024?

It's time to reset your long-time patients.  
 In this episode, Meredith and I discuss the use of code D0150, which is typically applied to new patients but can also benefit those who have been with the practice for an extended period. Updating records comes at a cost of $20 per patient, and conducting this every 3-5 years can significantly boost earnings. Moreover, it offers patients the opportunity to review their progress and identify changes over time. Implementing this strategy may pose challenges, but it ultimately simplifies the role of the treatment coordinator.
