In this mini-episode, I share a favorite passage from Rilke's Letters to a Young Poet about embracing uncertainty. His words create a resonant introduction to the idea of being in the liminal space between two ways of being that is the experience of being in The Tower. In the tarot, The Tower is the card we associate with Mars, ruler of Aries and Scorpio. Here, under this Aries Moon at the end of a wild and gnarly lunar cycle in Aries that has been collectively and individually very Tower, we can honor all that has shifted, all we've learned, all we've felt, and surrender it over.
Notably, in the tarot The Tower is the card that bridges between the liberating potential of unchaining from The Devil and the profoundly regenerating invitation of The Star. We have to "live the questions now" - as Rilke suggests - in order to reach that deep healing. To make things more interesting, The Devil is the card associated with Capricorn, and The Star is the card associated with Aquarius, the two adjacent signs currently holding much of the intense Tower-like churning energy of 2020. There is so much more I could have gotten into with this topic, but I desired to keep it simple and to the most relevant point of the now.
I hope you enjoy it! In honor of loving reciprocity, please rate and review if you are feeling support from this podcast.
