It's SHOW 200! Ring the bells, stomp your feet and this one is pretty much like the rest of 'em.
We discuss the game against Dallas in Frisco then move on to the upcoming match vs. Chivas USA down in LA.
Katy gets a surprise message and Jonathon continues his up and season in the Fantasy League.
Again our apologies about the late show, we will certainly try to do better in the future (though I wouldn't count my chickens on this one).
We gloat about the draw with the Portland Timbers then predict ourselves silly about the upcoming match versus Dallas (even making a wager about someone on the Sounders squad) and if that wasn't enough, Jonathon gloats...alot.
Major League Soccer wishes it could be this entertaining.
After a dis-spiriting loss to the Crew (again, at home, no less), the Cascadia Cup's first match is on the horizon as the boys head to Portland to take on the Timbers.
While Major League Soccer may or may not hype this match-up on their website all week, us here at the Pow Wow will certainly make our feelings of ill made known for the Timbers. We do however, like us Portland the city.
Plenty of trash talking and nice fuzzy feelings.
It takes absolutely no time at all for this show to go completely off the rails and end up not only in bathroom talk but also seriously inappropriate discussions of pearls and sand and panties.
Somewhere, somehow we manage to cover both last week's victory over the Montreal Impact and offer the briefest of glimpses of the upcoming match against the Columbus Crew.
Insightful, not so much. Entertaining, for us, certainly. For you, we certainly hope so.
After another terrible first half from the Rave Green, the Pow Wow laments what should have and or could have been with the Pitch Black third jerseys and the NYCFC logo and the Orlando City in 2015.
We couldn't stay on topic no matter what, but we covered many entertaining things including a brief glimpse at the Sounders first road match this year in Canada plus taunting began in the Fantasy League.
Oh what a glorious and skeptical win it was against Kansas City last week. But with the first week out of the way, the true test of DP's happens again in the Clink, with Toronto coming to town and Michael Bradley in tow.
Talk of fantasy and replacement referees to round things out.
It's another year and the trio of knowledge has returned to make your bus ride that much more entertaining. While we had (and I believe even promised) some grand changes to the format of the show, it hasn't happened yet. Perhaps we will need to make a mid-season acquisition to really get the SPW ball rolling.
We cover what we don't know (most of the new players), what we've done (Troy has travelled the globe) and what we hope (that we don't suck and a gabillion people join us at mlfs.com).
With Troy still away on a European vacation, Jonathon and Katy attempt a show to mixed results. There is a gremlin in the wiring which may take a while to iron out but the overall sound quality is beginning to suffer -- our most sincerest apologies.
Time to fantasy. Check out the show to find out who, what, where and how.
Plenty of happenings around the league and several things in Sounderland bring our trio to the table to talk turkey and trash, plus an announcement of devious intent.
Happy New Year Pow Wowers! We've finally sat our butts down and talked some smack.
There wasn't much vitriol in the room but a couple funny stories surfaced, homegrowns and big signings highlight our first episode of the New Year.
