Sounders Pow Wow

Oh what pitiful gloating fans of the Sounders we are. And not ashamed one bit.

Plenty to talk about but not much class and far too much singing from Jonathon, we relive the hop to first in MLS, speak of our newest acquisition, brush up against our loathing for things LA and briefly mingle with the Fantasy League.

After a couple of unemphatic wins over Chivas and Chicago, the big boys of RSL make their way to Seattle, with all the USMNT folks in tow. Whatever will happen at The T this Phriday?

There's certainly something to be said for the past, but in terms of technology perhaps Jonathon should bite the bullet and get a real computer (something NOT circa 2005).

Our most sincerest apologies for the messed up audio between minutes 7 and 11 (perhaps a sign from the Slurpee Deity?) so here we present the audio from that time without the overlapping mess.

At least we're pretty sure that's what this is.

The show is late for a couple reasons; Troy having a life and taking a vacation and the computer crashing during the mixing. We managed to save the show from the abyss, however, that's not to say it was necessarily worth saving.

Two listener emails begin the show covering plenty of current topics including our game at Columbus and what we drink during the show (inquiring minds WANT to know).

Hope we offended the correct people this week. If not, we'll try again next week.

Jonathon, Katy and Troy spend ample time talking about a listener e-mail (thank you), gloat about the win against the Timbers, speculate on what awaits our boys in Ohio and ask y'all to support the team in a different way.

Plenty to say about Jonathon being wrong, Portland being good and this week's match-up in a sold-out T.

Katy's Time brings up a couple interesting points and then Jonathon has too much to drink, falls down and goes boom.

Oh what a delightful mess we witnessed at Toronto and what does the second half of that game say about the Sounders and whether or not they can do anything but fail in Texas?

Some of us are more optomistic than others.

While the news is no longer new, we have a difficult time trying to hide our excitement at Saturday's announcement of the latest Sounders addition, Clint Dempsey. Combine that with a drubbing of FC Dallas, the upcoming match with Toronto FC and a special MatchPass bonus expedition and there's plenty of show to tolerate this week.

Plus a Katy's Time, which once again, goes off the rails. All in a week's work for us three.
