Jeremiah 29 tells the exiles to find shalom…to the exiles, they were sent to Babylon for 70 years - we all may feel like exiles in our own hometown. He told them to settle down in a home, plant gardens, and eat the food they produce
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”
People we normally count on don’t have the bandwidth. We need a team: Not the time to go it alone! Researchers and professionals tell us we need 4-7 people on our mental health team. Inner circle friends, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, social worker, therapist, counselor, pastor/priest, spiritual director, Life Coach.

Radical Boundaries - you have to slow down to say no so you can make margin in your life for what will heal your soul
Radical Rest - you have to slow down to get good SLEEP, yes, and naps,
Radical Adventure - you have to slow down to stay in the moment of play
