First, a former high school government and law teacher rallied her half-a-million Instagram followers to raise enough money to wipe away more than $50 million in medical debt. Sharon McMahon (known as @SharonSaysSo on Instagram) joins us to share why she became passionate about this cause and what it meant to see so many people come together online for good.

Then, we talk with the Executive Director of the nonprofit, RIP Medical Debt, Allison Sesso, about how big the problem of medical really is and what’s the impact on families.
