Imagine one minute you’re having drinks with a family member, and the next thing you remember is waking up in a hospital bed surrounded by law enforcement officers. You’re groggy and unsure of what transpired the previous day. For one young woman, this was her reality. By the time the whole confusing ordeal was over, she would come to learn how she ended up in the hospital and that someone very close to her was behind it.
