He is the Founder and CEO of Pure SEO, New Zealand's most awarded search agency. They have been in the Deloitte fast 500 for 7 years in a row, so he knows how to grow a business. But as he says, "Success is not Revenue alone".
In this podcast he shares his journey from moving from the UK to NZ with no contacts & no networks & starting a small company, to where he has got to today.
Richard is also a published author, of the best selling book - "How to Get to the Top of Google Search" with Penguin Books & as a successful entrepreneur he happily shares his journey, his learnings & supports many others on their Entrepreneurial journey through talking at events, being an active member of EO & just generally always looking at how he can help people.
Richard also shares his 3 top tips for Business Owners & Entrpreneurs.
I met Richard whilst working at Tower Insurance (my final stint in a Corporate environment). It was whilst he was distracted, as Entrepreneurs often are, by running multiple businesses. He had this idea about an online insurance comparison site & I just happened to be the Manager of Marketing at Tower Insurance.
I am so grateful for that meeting because Richard & I became friends & he introduced me to The Icehouse (where I worked as a coach & mentor for 7 years) & to EO New Zealand (Entrepreneurs'
Organization) (where I found a new support family & made more great friends).
Those things changed my life & led me to launching The Common & meeting Daniel & Francesca from EOS Worldwide, when they launched into NZ using my event centre. From there I became a professional EOS Implementer & that too has changed my life.
Thank you Richard. From such a seemingly boring meeting about insurance to a lifetime friend that changed my life. And thanks for always openly sharing & helping people 💖
