Some addictions aren’t yet completely understood, like video gaming addiction. There has long been controversy regarding whether games with violent content impact young influential minds. In October 2007, an Ohio clergyman and his wife were shot at close range in their own home. Mark and Sue Petric were adored by their community. No one anticipated their lives would be shattered by a senseless act of violence. The question at the forefront of this case is: were video games to blame for the shooter’s actions?
