To start the show Ariel jumps into Nicholas’s role in the Heritage Department, and how he actually works a lot regarding Tag Heuer in the modern age as a type of spokesperson for the brand. They discuss what the corporate culture at Tag Heuer is like in regards to being a part of a group like LVMH, and how a brand can look to the past and still innovate going forward. Ariel asks what it is about the spirit of the brand that allows them to seemingly do more research and development than their competitors, and the two dive into the history behind the infamous Carrera and what it means to the brand today.

Ariel inquires about the right way for companies to have competitive pricing to sell directly to consumers while also having a healthy relationship with retailers. Raphael talks about the DNA of Formex that he wanted to carry over after he joined, and how focusing on simplicity as a way of streamlining things has been a good strategy for the brand.
