I am thrilled that Ashley Fillmore is joining me on this episode! Ashley has a degree in Exercise and Nutrition and she specializes in sustainable weight loss for women. Ashley assists women in changing the composition of their bodies, caring for their health, avoiding constant dietary restrictions and overtraining, by changing their lifestyles and habits and understanding the root causes that triggered the habits that were creating dis-ease.

 

Ashley does not hesitate to share her own struggles, and how even when she was receiving compliments about how she looked, she felt miserable on the inside. Also, as it happens to most mothers, having children changed Ashley’s life radically.

 

Ashley and I also talk about how the pandemic has affected lots of women in their ability to take care of themselves, being at home all the time with homeschooled children and serious changes in daily habits and routines has really disrupted the health goals of many.

Ashley has been in the health and fitness industry for over a decade and holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Nutrition. After graduating, she realized she wanted to specialize in sustainable weight loss for women, so she got advanced certifications in women's health and hormonal balance (concerning sustainable fat loss).

She worked at a Health facility for 8+ years before starting her own company in 2015. She started her company and started a family at the same time. She had her first daughter in 2015 and had her second in 2018, so she has been busy! She went 100% online about a year ago and her business is thriving. They also launched their multivitamin in 2017 and it's sold worldwide!

She has been coaching women on sustainable weight loss, helping them heal their metabolism, exercise correctly, and improve their quality of life for over a decade. She is very passionate about helping women become the healthiest version of themselves. Even as a professional in this field, she got caught in the dieting trap years ago, damaged her metabolism, hormones, and relationship with food. It took her years to recover from this, so her goal is to teach her clients how to go about weight loss the right way.

She is a mother, wife, and business owner, so she knows firsthand how easy it can be to put yourself on the back burner, but she believes we have to prioritize ourselves and that we can´t neglect our health!
