How to Make Time to Rest (without ignoring your goals) You know it's okay to rest right? Listen, I struggle with this too.
Boundaries are hard for me and I struggle to just sit still and do nothing. I love to be go go go. I love it because I had created a belief system that it was the only way to be successful.
That the only way to have all that I wanted in life was to burnout. That my to do list dictated my day and my mood. That if I wasn't always going or doing or performing I wasn't worthy. That one stings a little.
Because I know that truth. I know that my worth isn't in works. Maybe you believe that too. But if we really believe it, why do we wear ourselves out? Why do we refuse to rest? Why do we feel the need to always fill up every list in our planner and resist finding time to just be present?
